I feel it’s an amazing honor to begin with this glamorous editorial feature of Ex Nigerian international model and now enterpreneur, Aisha Bello in the La Mode Magazine as she unveiled the Nigerian Model Association. I hope it tastes so sweet to enjoy as you navigate through with love.
Aisha was born on 10th March 1989 in Warri, Delta state Nigeria. She’s originally from Auchi in Edo state Nigeria. Pretty much, she has a Muslim background and a polygamous home. She got her diploma in public administration in Bayero University in Kano and a degree in conflict resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria.
She won various awards both locally and internationally, some of the awards won by Aisha include the future awards for Africa’s most outstanding model, Eloy Africa model of the year, Nigeria model awards and so many others. She covered lots of magazines from within Nigeria and outside, and even worked actively with a lot of international and local designers as well. She started modelling locally way back in 2008, and then won a prestigious modelling contest in 2009 (Nigeria’s Next Super Model), this was where she got her big break.
Aisha Bello moved to New York in 2012, where she started her international modelling, she has actually done a couple of shows all over the world from New York, London, Milan, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona and Malta. As a matter of fact, Aisha was one of the top Nigerian models making waves before she decided to quite modelling to move back to Nigeria to start her own business.
She named her modelling Agency, Star Model Africa because she felt she’ll produce stars from Africa. Star Model Africa has 13 models so far since the Agency started in January. She went ahead and set up an Association for models in Nigeria, she said quite clearly, “if models in Nigeria have an association, everything will be in place in the industry”. Check out on her luxury brand, style, fashionable outfits, sweet reposes and enjoy. Dare to impress, don’t forget to leave your comment in the box.
