After being announced earlier this week, Virgil Abloh‘s collaborative book with MCA Chicago and publisher Prestel, “Figures of Speech” now gets an inside look. The book will be released to coincide with the exhibition of the same name at MCA Chicago later this year, which will spotlight Abloh’s work and creative projects across different disciplines spanning fashion, music, architecture and design.
Key projects in the book range from Abloh’s time at the University of Wisconsin and the Illinois Institute of Technology in the late 1990s to his recent collaborations with labels such as IKEA and Nike. Other notable projects include his work for Kanye West — particularly on his albums YEEZUS and Watch the Throne – as well as Off-White™ andLouis Vuitton.
Take a look through the book in the gallery above, and expect it to release ahead of the exhibition’s opening on June 10.
