Pan-African luxury design house, Ophelia Crossland has unveiled a new collection to celebrate the summer and buoyant mood of this season. The brand headquartered in Accra, Ghana is headed by Award-winning Ghanaian designer Mrs. Ophelia Okyere-Darko who juggles other roles as a wife and a mother.

Started in 2004 after winning the Most Outstanding student of the Year award at the prestigious, Vogue Style School of Fashion and Design, Ophelia Crossland has become a reputable name in the fashion industry in Ghana and Africa.
With a Pan-African mindset the brand reflects the style, optimism, humour and life of its Creative Director and head designer, Mrs. Ophelia Okyere-Darko (nee Crossland). Honoured as Swarovski’s West African Ambassador, the brand has positioned Ghana on the global fashion map through its designs.
The granddaughter of a former “Miss Gold Coast” heralding Ghana’s independence as the first in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ophelia Okyere Darko was born with the “needle and thread” in her palm as her mother also is stalwart in the clothing industry. Having sold and produced fabrics in West Africa for over 40 years. Ophelia wears several hats as the brains behind the “Ohemaa Kidz Club” christened after her daughter “Ohemaa” and produces African inspired clothing for young Ghanaian girls and teenagers.
