Top Ghanaian Designer, Ophelia Crossland unveils her luxury outfits at the 2019 edition of Global Qipao Invitational Exhibition held in the National Silk Museum, Hangzhou City China. The multi-constructed Qipao maxi gown with a narrow skirt was made with Ghanaian kente, Chinese silk, bold roses appliquès, hand stitched and crystals from Swarovski to give it the shimmer look; a detailed tunic neckline with Chinese buttons. This resonates with the theme which is “Weddings”.
Ophelia was elated, so she commented, “we love the play of patterns, fabrics colors and detailed embellishments to create this enhanced version of Qipao, representing Ghana at the Exhibition”. She expressed her appreciation for the team’s endless love in creating this master piece.
