Glitz She Boss Extraordinaire Claudia Lumor was pretty inspiring with a touch on the Beauty industry at a Beauty Forum which was held on Thursday, 17th October, 2019 at the Labadi Beach Hotel Accra, Ghana. It was actually a side event to the Glitz Africa Fashion Week. Her point was well made, as a matter of fact she did really resonate with the audience.
She gave her perspective on her Instagram page. “Beauty is no longer vanity, it’s business. The beauty industry has grown and expanded globally within the past decade. Evolving from a niche of preference among a certain class of people to universal movement empowering people from all walks of life and providing jobs”.
She noted with confidence, what “Glitz Africa Beauty Forum 2019 seeks to do is to start the conversation of the future of the industry; trending procedures, emerging beauty brands, and the power of beauty influencers in promoting indigenous beauty brands.
The Editor in Chief of Glitz Africa Magazine was hopeful that the participants of the beauty forum will be better imformed, empowered and inspired. “I hope that we will be better imformed, empowered and inspired to work even harder to take the local beauty industry to the next level”.
The event was hosted by Ohemaa Ghana, the founder of YEW Global; the influencer panel included Juliet Ibrahim (Actress and Author), Aretha Yorke, (Business Manager, Maybelline), and Derbie Beeko (Beauty and Style Influencer). See the style images below!
