On Saturday, October 19 the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia was honored at the 9th edition of the 2019 African Fashion and Modeling Awards in Abidjan, Ivory Coast; for her efforts in empowering women and the youth, promotion of creative arts, as well as vocational and skills training.
She also commissioned a school for Fashion Trades and Modeling with H.E Kandia Kamara, Minister for Education, Vocational, Professional training; and paid a courtesy call on H.EClarisse Duncan, the Second Lady of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire.
On Sunday October 20, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia had the pleasure of addressing the Cote D’Ivoire Branch of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Abidjan. She reiterated the programmes, policies and development initiates of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s government. She also urged the members to stay resouter and foster unity towards victory in 2020. See the images below!
