The untold story is about to unfold at this year’s Fashion Connect Africa which happens live today, 30th December, 2019 at Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra Ghana. The presentation designers are ready to rock the runway in style. Based on their experiences, the designers are prepared to connect with the African story and tell it in a way that relates African fashion to the world.
Lots of inspired silhouettes and looks will be showcased or presented on the runway tonight. The presentation designers include Chocolate Clothes GH, David Tlale, Van Vorsh, Afro Model Trends, BeamBold, Duaba Serwa, Attoh Tetteh, Emmy Kasbit, and A-kinko.
The Vlisco Vintage are made of designers who are poised for the global footprint of the African print show, among them are Swarovski Crystals, Nyonuvi, ANKV. The same applies to the wonders of Woodin, with the designers being mentioned as Larry Jay, Clatural, House of Paon and Alleluia. The Grand GTP comes next with their designers for the African print show which involve Sena Bryte, Eugene D’wise, and Jay Ray.
The show will be hosted by (MC’s for the night) the finest King Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, and the beautiful Berla Mundi. The performing artistes are Wiyaala – the Lioness of Africa, Manifest – the mic god, and the sensational Irene Logan; it’ll be a night of fashion, music and art. Expect nothing but the (absolute) best. Right before the main show starts, there will be a panel discussion on the much needed dialogue that’ll set the tone for the way forward for the African fashion. The panelists are Kwaku Bediako, Abrima, Erwiah, Ayesha Bedwei, and Claudia Lumor.
The sponsors include Vlisco, Woodin, GTP, Appolonia City, Ostec and Mövenpick Accra. See the style images below!
